WILDCAT WALK-A-THON

Thank you, Wildcats, for another exciting year of fund-raising through our Wildcat Walk-a-Thon!  This year’s primary PTO fundraiser was a success due to the hard work of many parents, staff, and students!  Many thanks to those parents who sorted pledge paperwork, created bibs, were class shepherds, marked laps, & counted money.  This team effort was both successful and fun!

Look for t-shirts, cups, and programmable fan prizes to come home on November 20th!

How Much Did We Raise?

Thanks to your generous donations and the pledges received, we raised a total of $40,000, less expenses.  This money will enable Winstead to provide a mounted LCD projector and inter-write pad for each 4th & 5th grade classroom.  Each 2nd and 3rd grade classrooms will get a mounted LCD projector and a new smart board.  Kindergarten and 1st grade classrooms will receive a mounted LCD projector ready to utilize any mobile smart board the school owns.  All equipment will be delivered and installed during Thanksgiving break, so the kids will all be able to reap the benefits of their efforts immediately!

Congratulations to 5th grader, Cristal Pugel, who won the t-shirt design contest!

Natalie Van Noy won lunch with our principal, Mrs. Kinder, for bringing in $900, the most money by one student.  Congratulations, Natalie!  And the classes that won ice cream parties in each grade are listed below the Grand Prize Winners List!  Congratulations to those classes for bringing in the most money for their grade level!

A BIG Thank You goes to the IHS Varsity Football Cheerleaders, Drum Line & "Indy" the Eagle Mascot as well as the Page Middle Cheerleaders for sharing their SPIRIT at the Walk-a-Thon Pep Rally!
