TRASH FOR CASH

Wondering what this means?

Looking for a great way to help Winstead earn cash without doing much more than the grocery shopping you’re already doing?

What products have value as "Trash for Cash"?

GENERAL MILLS BOX TOPS FOR EDUCATION

The General Mills Box Tops for Education program offers an EASY way to do this! Simply clip out the Box Tops for Education logos from eligible products and send them to school with your child. Our schools earn 10 cents for each box top that is collected! And this adds up to quite an amount of money!  TIP: Use their printable collection sheets! (Please use only glue sticks or tape to adhere the Box Tops to the collection sheet - no staples!  Thanks!)

Remember:  Do not send in EXPIRED Box Tops or Box Tops where the expiration date has been CUT OFF, because they CANNOT be accepted and will not count toward your class totals or prizes for the collection sheets.  Go to the Box Tops official website for all the details.

In the 2008-09 school year alone, over $3,800 in cash was raised through this program!  This money goes directly toward PTO events & activities!

Recycling: Proceeds derived from the sale of recycling support schools and various community environmental projects.  Winstead receives a portion of the proceeds from the Recycling Drop-Off Center Kroger at Williamson Square Shopping Center on Hwy 96 (Murfreesboro Rd.)  It is not staffed, but accessible 24 hours.  Click here to access the Williamson County Recycling information.
