PTO Goals
2009-2010
Mission
To enrich the lives of our children by supporting the Principals, Faculty, and Parents of Winstead Elementary School.
Goals
-
To promote the "We Are Family" concept and encourage broad parental involvement and volunteerism in the school with the hope that all volunteers have a positive experience.

To make all family members feel welcome and needed.

To increase Dad involvement in our school because Dads do make a difference!

To work closely with administration and teachers to provide the educational tools necessary to maintain and exceed our current level of learning.

To increase our PTO memberships so that we are able to provide quality enrichment programs for the children.

To help ensure the health and safety of our children.

To show appreciation to our staff in recognition of their services.

To coordinate volunteers and conduct fundraisers to support the above goals.

To keep families informed about all PTO functions and fund-raising efforts, and to let parents know where money has been spent.
